Researchers from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Pest Management Centre (SPMC) conducted a four days training on the prevention of post harvest losses using Hermetic bags and other methods from 10th – 13th December 2018. About 150 smallholder farmers from Isimani ward, Iringa region, participated in this training sponsored by a COSTECH funded project “Developing and Introduction of Hermetic Storage: Innovative sustainable technology for prevention of post harvest grain losses in smallholder”
